23 July 2026
Publication of the REVERSE-IT results in Nature Communications: major scientific recognition for TOTUM 63, the active at the heart of Diadrive.
This publication is an independent recognition of the scientific quality of the research conducted around TOTUM 63 and confirms the strength of the clinical programme developed by Valbiotis. It follows the presentation of the results at the American Diabetes Association and European Association for the Study of Diabetes congresses.
An international clinical trial
REVERSE-IT is a randomised, multicentre, international, placebo-controlled trial conducted in 52 European centres with 636 participants presenting elevated blood glucose. After six months, fasting plasma glucose was significantly reduced compared with placebo: 3.8 mg/dL with three daily intakes (p = 0.0149) and 5.5 mg/dL with two daily intakes (p < 0.001).
The study also shows favourable effects on several cardiometabolic parameters:
- HbA1c
- insulin resistance
- body weight
- lipid profile
- low-grade chronic inflammation
Leading scientific validation
Publication in Nature Communications is a decisive step in the scientific recognition of TOTUM 63. It reflects the quality of the research carried out by Valbiotis and strengthens the credibility of the results within the international scientific community. The trial is registered as NCT04423302 on ClinicalTrials.gov and was funded by Valbiotis.
The study was conducted in people with elevated blood glucose and concerns the TOTUM 63 active. It belongs to scientific research: Laviela food supplements are neither a medicine nor a treatment and are not a substitute for medical follow-up.
